What it is
Argus is an AI-powered autonomous end-to-end testing engine. Point it at a codebase and a running app and it explores, writes the tests and runs them, with no test writing required: e2e-agent --codebase ./my-app --app-url http://localhost:3000. The pipeline is URL → discover → generate → export → execute → heal → report.
The hard problem
A self-healing test that heals wrongly is worse than a failing test.
The healer repairs broken selectors and assertions when a test fails. Get that wrong and a real regression turns into a green build — the failure is silent, and a silent failure is worse than the loud one it replaced. That is the tension the healer has to resolve.
