What the agents do
- Read the telemetry, the documentation and the operations record.
- Draft the root-cause account and the recovery procedure.
- Attach the source document to every claim in both.
What the machine refuses
- A claim it cannot trace to a source — discarded, and an honest refusal served instead.
- A command to the spacecraft. It drafts; it never executes.
- Real data it was not given. Rehearsal runs on a synthetic reference set, never on invented telemetry.
Where a person signs
Executes every step
The product drafts the recovery; an operator runs it. Advisory only, by design — provenance is enforced by the system, and the decision stays with the person who answers for it.
